1. Task Analysis
To communicate how a simple task a like research submission is made overly complex by Cayuse IRB, contrast is provided between the requirements and the journey.

2. Usability Testing
To identify pain points in the task flow, graduate students (N=5) trained in research but with no experience with Cayuse IRB were used. They were asked to fill out a pre-written research prompt and think aloud.Some gave up, one person even cried. No one was able to successfully complete a submission.
